Pre heat the oven to 320° F

Place the vegetable oil in a skillet and bring to a moderate high heat. Just brown off the ribs or chicken. Place in a casserole dish.

For the sauce

Combine all of the BBQ sauces. Mix well by hand and taste. Adjust as necessary. Want more smoke? Use more of the KC Style sauce.

Using a basting brush, slather over chicken or ribs after pre-cooking and bake in a 320° F oven for 1½ hours or until tender and browned.

Tips

We like to do chicken in this sauce. A little - but not much - spicy and somewhat sweet. Use legs, thighs or wings or any combination. It's that easy.

Pork ribs and maybe beef ribs would be good in this also. Again, your choice.
