The resturant is located in an old house. It's like being invited into a friend's house for dinner. It is warm and inviting with candlelit tables, but not so dark as not to be able to see what one is eating. Many family photos are hanging on the wall and dining is family style. "Christi Ansotegui and Gina Ansotegui Urquidi opened Epi's on January 26, 1999 in honor of their grandmother, Epi Inchausti." Food presentation is good. Plates are clean and served well. The food quality is excellant. Ingredients are fresh and well prepared. Service is good and extremely friendly. Prices range from $6.00 to $9.95 for Appetizers (Entremesak), $12.95 (Meatballs) to $24.95 (Grilled Lamb Loin Chops) for the Entrees and they have a Seniors Menu (60+) and a Children's Menu (12 years and younger). All entrees include soup, salad, bread and side dishes. The grilled Pork Loin Chops are wonderful!
This is really a superb Basque restaurant. Great food and great service. We will return to Epi's! Definitely rates the 4-Stars.
