2 Sunrise Lane, Baker, Oregon
|If driving through Baker, Oregon or visiting the Oregon Trail Museum in Baker, this is the place to stop. An O-gauge train runs through the restaurant and the entire interior is decorated in railroad motif. This is the place for train lovers. Sumpter Junction is an interesting stop while traveling the interstate through south-eastern Oregon||Food presentation is nice, but not really exceptional. More on the scale of a small, country restaurant.||The food quality is good. Serving sizes are completely adequate. Take the kids, or Grandkids, they will enjoy the ambiance and the food.||Service is good and complete. The waite staff is courteous and polite. You can tell when the "regulars" come in as their greeting is somewhat different, although our greeting was good.||Pricing is adequate for the breakfasts we have had there. About $16 will buy a good breakfast for two.||
Definitely a 3-Star restaurant. One that we keep going back to when traveling through the area. Well worth the stop.
